COI requirements
Subcontractor Insurance Requirementsr

At its own expense, the subcontractor shall maintain the following minimum insurance coverages, or such greater coverages or limits as required by the Prime Contract or project Work Order.

  • General Liability Insurance
    • $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 general aggregate
    • Includes Products/Completed Operations
    • Endorsements: CG 20 10 (Ongoing Operations), CG 20 37 (Completed Operations)
  • Workers’ Compensation Insurance
    • Statutory limits or $500,000 per occurrence (whichever is greater)
    • Required regardless of state exemption rules
    • Waiver of Subrogation in favor of Global Response Team, LLC is required (unless such waiver is prohibited or void under applicable state law or statute)
    • List Global Response Team as Certificate Holder
  • Employer’s Liability
    •   $1,000,000 per accident
  • Umbrella/Excess Liability
    •  $2,000,000 minimum limit
    • Must apply over General Liability and Employer’s Liability
    • Includes Additional Insured status for Global Response Team
  • Pollution Liability (For emergency subcontractors doing remediation)
    • $1,000,000 minimum limit
    • Must include coverage for mold/fungus/bacteria
  • Certificate & Endorsement Requirements
    • Policies must be Primary & Non-Contributory
    • Waiver of Subrogation on all applicable lines (unless prohibited by applicable state law or statute)
    • Attach endorsement pages with COI
